Enjoyable stay with a city view

The warm reception and friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the charming city views from the rooftop terrace during breakfast, which enhanced my mornings.

However, the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, making some nights uncomfortable. Noise from the busy street and nearby shops could also make it difficult to sleep at times.

The location is ideal, just a short walk to the lively high street and nearby tram station, making it easy to explore. The city view from the rooftop terrace is a nice way to start your day with breakfast.

Soundproofing is a major issue. thin walls let in a lot of noise from the street, making sleep challenging, especially in the early hours. The air conditioning has limited hours of operation, making rooms uncomfortably warm during the day and not functioning well at night. Housekeeping is inconsistent, with inadequate cleaning during extended stays. I noticed dust under the bed and unclean bathrooms. The breakfast options lack variety and quality, with some guests reporting limited egg choices and poor food availability.

The breakfast selection was wonderful, featuring a fantastic Turkish spread that kickstarted each day perfectly. Staff were inviting, particularly Huseyin at the reception, who always had helpful tips for exploring the surroundings. However, the room felt cramped and lacked proper soundproofing, so noise from outside was a consistent disturbance. Additionally, the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature during stay. Limited outlets made charging devices inconvenient, and the lack of a kettle in the room added to the frustration.

The location made it easy to access local attractions and public transportation. However, the air conditioning was inadequate, and the staff were unhelpful when we raised concerns, displaying rudeness at times. On a positive note, the cleaners were efficient, and I enjoyed the fish and chips during my stay.
